| My wife and I went there for our 25th anniversary several years ago and we chose to go to Kauai. We chose it because of it's natural beauty. It has wide variety of climates (rain forests to deserts) on such a small area. It is relatively small size, everything was within an easy day trip. It has much less people per area than Maui or Oahu.
It is still one of my favorite vacations. There were so many places to see and things to do. I wish we could have stayed longer. I haven't been to any of the other islands and I am sure they are also great in there own way. To me the biggest downside, and the reason we have not returned, is the long flight. We can be in the Caribbean in less than half the time. | |
