Sounds like 1586 needs to get a job in the engineering department at Kinze and teach them a thing or two... Kinze only sells a couple 16/31 planters ;) every year so I am sure they do not know what they are doing... I would think if this happens on ALL there planters something would have been addressed by now. Just my opinion.

Exactly. Not to mention Tesile strength is the amount of pull end to end the bolt will take. However, this bolt is subject to shear, where a grade 8 or higher bolt will shear easier, since it is harder.
