Franklinton, LA | Last August and September my wife and I took a very enjoyable drive all the way around Lake Michigan. Prior to the trip I received a lot of very good and greatly appreciated advice from the NAT posters.
In a few weeks we plan to drive to Glacier National Park. We plan to stay in a motel near the park and take guided tours of the park. I am too old for hiking and paddling a boat! Any suggestions on lodging and restaurants near the park as well as tours will be appreciated. Will the roads through the park be open by the third week of June?
While traveling to the park we plan to drive I29 north from Kansas City and then west through North Dakota and Montana. Suggestions on stops, highways, lodging and restaurants from I29 to the park will be very helpful. We took a very enjoyable drive across south Dakota in 2013 so we are looking for some new scenery for 2016. Yes, we did stop at the Wall Drug Store and we enjoyed the stop!
