NE kansas | I think more of what line of cattle than breed anymore. We also raise Herefords, some lines get it worse than others. Last year around hear it didn't matter what breed you had, you got pinkeye. Is pinkeye more of a problem in wetter climates? We also have one pasture that it doesn't matter if you vaccinate, what age, what breed, your going to doctor at least 25 % and closer to 50% for pinkeye- also happens to be the furthest away from home too! I have heard a vet say treat the pinkeye and it will clear up in two weeks or don't treat it and it will clear up in two weeks, never tried the latter. | |
