The transmission for the 900 6 row is in the very center under the hopper. CIH moved it there to narrow the planter a little, but made it harder to get to. Are you sure you want to cut up that planter? You're going to run into a lot of unforeseen complications in such a project, why not just sell it and buy an 800 or 900 six row.
