Driftless SW Wisconsin
W Illini is correct, we cannot have any wheel between our Pluribus row units. The newer Kinze frames such as your wing fold are strong enough, the problem is wheel location. A later model 12 row vertical fold planter frame w or wo lift assist wheels works well if set up properly. The older planters such as the rear fold Kinzes were not really designed like the newer ones. The way that the weather is going this year, using our Pluribus as a spring plan is a good idea in many areas. As far as Chads mud/clods comment, I am writnig this on a handheld NC MN after strip tilling this morning in twin row corn stalks, mud and snow showers. I'll post some photos later. Some clods in the fall or even spring is not necessarily the problem it sounds like. We have made subtle but important changes as we learn more. For example, note the "swirl" attachment on our website home page. Later...Jim at Dawn
