SW OH | A guy at work was pulled over driving an F-450 pulling a bobcat trailer for talking on the phone over a year ago. Over 10,000 GVW commercial vehicle. Still in court facing a $13,750 fine. $11,000 dollar for the company and $2750 for the driver. All CDL drivers have to sign a paper stating that they will pay the company's share of the fine to work here in the event of such a charge. The driver in this case did not know he could not talk on his phone while holding it. Neither did his boss who is the one who made the call to him while driving. Communication is number 9 in the company I work for.
