Central Texas | Yep town was covered with news vans and reporters today. Already wearing out local leaders wanting interviews. Hope they're not at salebarn tomorrow. Can't unring the bell. Do hope they catch the bad guy(s). Also hope this will give some emotional relief to the owners and management of the plant. Has been really rough on them. Need to keep all affected in our prayers as I'm afraid this is just reopening old wounds at a time when things were just getting settled down.
What has been so amazing is the amount of spiritual, emotional, physical and financial support that has poured into this community from all over the world. It has been my observation that while this event was a major tragedy for many folks, it created a response that was truly a blessing for many who were adversely affected but even more so a blessing for the thousands of volunteer workers and financial contributors that have profoundly touched the city and it's residents. You would have had to have seen it to believe it. A LOT of LOVE was poured onto the residents of West Tx after this tragedy. Can't say enough good things about all the fine folks that have been a part of the recovery process. Thank you so much!!! | |
