I agree with this. Although I do feel very bad for the young man, and I hope he recovers fully, he probably would have been mcuh better off with his seatbelt on. We are so quick to harp on the vehicle drivers for not following the law and texting while driving, or driving too fast, or whatever it may be, but if he would have been following the law also, he probably wouldn't be in the position he is in now.
I buckle up everytime in the tractor just for that reason, the cab/rops isn't going to do me much good if I can't stay inside of it. |
