Around here any election I have been to has more than 2 candidates.
Federal and Provincial usually have 5-6 to choose from.
Municipal will have several candidates for council more than the number of gates/seats you can pick for.

] Yea the US is two party system and rarely in any election at any level do you see more than those two. It is sad we need people to embrase a third party as it would better balance things out, as well as give more real representation to many people but things are ingrained pretty well here.
