I guess we've got it pretty fortunate. Virginia's DEQ is quite adamant about keeping the federal EPA out of the state, and doing their own managing of stuff, including CAFO permits. Farm ponds are easily built with no oversight whatsoever here.
Dont kid yourself about the EPA being held at bay by your state. His state was supporting him, I saw an in depth look at this a while back. I believe it was on Stossel's show on fox buisness. |
