King City, Mo | We used k31 from Orschlens, Tsc or walmart when we seeded ours. Looked at the other mixes and it's just grass....Put fertilizer on every year with the tractor and cart when spreading the field keeps it looking good even for driving equipment threw it often as the turn rows for the plot in the front yard is well the front yard...even had the semi, weigh wagon and combine pass it 30+ times last fall doing the front yard corn plot. Can't tell this spring the combine was there.
Did make a pass with the drill and wheat the fall prior to help get a cover started and then cut the wheat and planted cereal rye radishes and turnips in the yard to help as a cover. Oh and we grazed part of the yard in the flash drought of 2013......
