Yes, the old JD 111 was a fine mower and the 11 hp briggs engine has never seemed short on power unless I am cutting grass taller than the deck. This one must be close to 30 years old as well and still mostly original. I did have to replace some bearings on the mower spindles. Also the axle bushings in the "Peerless" transaxle. Front axle weld failed several years ago but it was not a big deal to take apart and weld.
