Last fall I moldboarded half and chiseled half of a corn field. Planted field back to corn this year and what was moldboarded is smaller and has a lighter green color than the chiseled stuff. Why would that be? Same variety of corn, planted same day and 200 pounds of anhydrous. I kinda figured it would be the other way around, guess not.
