Have ran a sprayer for over 35 years. Started long before light bar or autosteer and always have ran with the rows. Never seemed to be a problem staying off the row for me. I don't think I could ever make myself spray crossways to the rows.


I haven't been spraying that long but I've always drove the rows. I just can't see running over corn on purpose. Plus on most fields running perpendicular you are in shorter more time consuming rows. If you know your rig and pay attention you can still run fast and do a good job. I can spray 15+ mph driving the rows with my 4430 case. I follow the planter 120' boom and 60' planter.
