You are correct. It is a true cathedral with the walls running horizontal as well. Hadn't thought about doing the gable wall first to get both sides lined up. That is a good idea. And yes, I have considered some type of trim for the gable wall. I don't want a tight seam anyway so that the planks can move a bit. So there will need to be some type of trim for that groove. Thanks for the tips!
