Subject: Mosquito Repellant

Oklahoma
Need to do a lot of work in our orchard which is in a creek bottom. Now that spring is here, so are the swarms of mosquitos. We can actually see swarms moving in the air. Worked all there all weekend and they ate us up. Son was spreading fertilizer on an open station tractor said Deet helped him but didn't stop them. I sprayed several mosquitos on my arm directly with deet and they kept drilling. Later, was burning some brush piles and "spilled" some diesel on my shirt sleeve, they drilled through that. Someone told my Dad there was a keychain of some kind that he wears when he mows or rakes hay on an open station tractor that keeps them back but I can't find any information on that.

Any good ideas out there that work so I can actually get something done.
