Warren County, Mo
I do, that pasture last fall was horrible. I mean dead grass everywhere, what was growing was absolutely junk. We pulled a soil sample this spring (25 samples throughout and mixed them up nicely, avoiding the water runoff areas so we didn't skew the results and then fertilized the crap out of it.

I don't recall the specific numbers, but we added nitrogen, phosphorous, phosphate and we added some sulphur for good measure.

I'm giving a serious consideration to purchasing some bred cows for a 2017 spring calving. We'll see... I still have one more cross fence to add and we've got rain all this week in the forecast.
