Would you please expand on how to use them.  Have only seen guardrail fastened to wooden post (slabbed hedge and lag bolts)  for cattle.  Do they just blow holes and bolt, like 3 down in ground concrete 6 up.  Then about the 6 ft explain and how are they used. Explain what you mean by split. What are the 6 ft used for as the appear to be short? (can see something like a single cable for parking area)  Just never been around the post.  How many  9ft post would a 24 section of guardrail use 3 or 4 (for cattle) ?
