Subject: RE: Ben thar and done that

Franklinton, LA
A Mr. Stewart who lives on LA 60 a few miles west of Bogalusa, LA assembled the Farmall AAA. He told me the rear end is easy to bolt together but he had to build the front axle and steering linkage. I know he has made at least 2 of the AAA models and one AA model with 2 cub tractors.

I am not sure who had the old one cylinder gas engines. This was my fist time to see the big one on the trailer.

This area has never had the large row crop farms like the LA Delta area. Most of the tractors sold in this area were under 50 HP. They usually have some high clearance tractors at the show. The smaller ones were used for sweet potatoes, strawberries and other vegetables. The larger ones are from the south LA sugarcane country.
