Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

alafarmer - 5/7/2016 06:46 But if there is any dirt trackers around Ohio and Indiana, what ever happened to larry Moore, Charlie Swartze and all the old time dirt trackers. Also does anybody remember Earl Smith

Recommended reading on Larry Moore..... very interesting book, gives a look into how and why Larry Moore was so successful in racing. Lots of great stories and a good history of the changes in big time dirt late model racing in the 1970s, through the 1980s and into the 1990s.

By sheer coincidence this book about Rex Robbins dovetails with Larry's book and gives a history, from the perspective of he American Speed Association, of Late Model asphalt racing from the same era. Good combination of books to have and read.
