Near-north Ontario, French River
Not as of yet. The trucks that I drive are used to plow snow on provincial highways here in Ontario. They did have issues with the wire harness on one truck that caused a derate , but I wouldn't blame that on DEF. For what its worth it flashed a warning on the dash and continued to run at full power for something like 500km so it wasn't a life or death/ leave ya stranded type issue. Have run in -22-25C several times, for days on end with no issues. They don't like us to leave the trucks running between runs, we typically wait 20-30min before starting another run ( do paper work, load salt, fuel etc) so lots of time spent sitting as well. Previous trucks were DPF only, and a LOT more trouble with those.
