Standing water is the greatest compaction source I can think of. If there is excess water at points in time that cause compaction, work on solving that first. Anything else is a band aid.
Any type of tillage is going to be a short term fix. If you have to do something for this year, so be it. Sure wouldn't want to make it an annual deal though. Been there, done that. |
