Mather, Manitoba | Yes it bad. Don't even hesitate, if you find in the evening, you go to the hospital right away. Try to catch it and take it with you (in a pill bottle or similar container) to the hospital.
My uncle got Lyme in the 80s. Back then the medical community didn't want to admit that Lyme disease was prevalent in Manitoba. So he had no treatment. He passed away in June and fought early onset Arthritis and was crippled up for the last 30 years from that disease. It pretty much screwed his life.
