Subject: RE: Authority XL and pH

Anderson County Kansas
I sure wouldn't use XL with a ph that high. I would go with MTZ. In the fall of 2011 I applied Authority XL in the fall on corn stubble to control winter annuals. We all know how dry 2012 was. I had carryover from it on corn in the spring of 2013 in spots. The spots with the carryover was along the roads anywhere the ph was over 7. It hammered the corn right along the roads where I had to look at it every time I drive by. I am never using it again because of that.
