Subject: RE: Following Up On Fired Cartoonist

The rapidly vanishing farmland of Boone Co. Ind.
DuPont has a lot of irons in the fire. You say you had a record year but do you know what the profit margin is on your division? Could be moving a lot of product and be breaking even or worse. Meanwhile the company is doing well in automotive finishes, or chemicals, or whatever they're manufacturing. I've had a few years of breaking even or worse but I don't begrudge the folks at Deere for still making money. I take a job for the pay we agree upon and do the best work I can to make the company profitable because if I and other employees don't, the company more than likely won't survive long. Just my take.
