J. R. Simplot supplies a lot of McDonald's french fries. They are in Idaho, I believe.



The headquarters is in Idaho. JR had farms in at least Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, probably other states too. The business is WAY bigger than just farming now. I'm not aware of the company doing any farming, at least locally. They have various food processing/packaging facilities, feedlots, fertilizer and crop protection products sales and services, etc. "Simplot" certainly sells a great deal of fries to McDonalds, but the spuds were grown by a lot of different farmers.
