Subject: Following Up On Fired Cartoonist

Lancaster, OH
There seems to be something about that cartoon and our country with people who make a lot of money. My son and his girlfriend were furious that the President of their University made $400,000 per year. That's $25/student.

What is really wrong with earning a lot of money? I mean, I couldn't sleep at night knowing that the decisions I made that day that are the best for the company I work for, the stock holders and customers had a negative impact on some of my employees and their families. That is a lot to shoulder. I guess you work yourself up to that but it's not me. It would take a lot of money for me to sell that part of myself.

Go ahead and flame me but I guess if someone develops the skills and wisdom to be worth that to someone, who am I to complain since I made different decisions with my life?
