It has absolutely nothing to do with the truth. The fact is the man did something that offended a client or clients of his employer and they chose to fire him. They are more than within their right to do so. Do I think it was warranted? Probably not. We all know the CEOs of the big companies make a ridiculous amount of money. This seems a bit like whining because they make more money than farmers. Of course they do! If I wanted to make that kind of money I would have gone into a different career.
It has everything to do with the truth. I was referring to the truth of the cartoon. And the fact that a CEO's feelings got hurt. If the cartoonist's research was correct and what he portrayed in the cartoon was accurate, I see nothing wrong with it. Farmer's feelings get hurt all the time by cartoons that portray them as dumb hicks and no one really cares. But if the shoe fits.............................
