| I am a young farmer looking to get a little more aggressive at buying or renting land in the next few years. I have grown up trying to stay up on the local gossip of what places are being sold or rented for. Also I go to as many land auctions as I can but this is obviously very time consuming and not feasible to make it to all of them. I guess this is ok but I would like a little better way to arm myself with more reliable information so I can make better decisions. I figure the more the better. Any better ideas? I have heard before that I can go to the courthouse and request property sales records? Good place to start?
