NE Indiana | My mom was a school principal, back in the day before reduced cost school lunches. She was suspicious this one kid who was carrying his lunch wasn't eating right. She took him aside one day and said, "show me what's in your lunch sack."
He had one cold boiled beet.
Personally then I don't care if there's some who take advantage, and some are getting cheap lunches who shouldn't. If we can prevent this kind of thing from happening it's worth it. | |
