Land_Surfer - 5/3/2016 19:11 hush, hush as it should be. There are many out there who are so insecure (like the lunch lady in your example and most TV talk show and reality show hosts like: Nancy Grace, Rush Limbaugh, etc.) that they have to try and make others feel so low so they can feel so high, especially those in need, trouble and/or on hard times, because its easier to beat down those people. There is a reason why most lunch ladies were "lunch ladies." It sure wasn't because they wanted to.

Baggage, much?  About 8 or 10 of the finest, sweetest kindest ladies I ever knew as a kid were the lunch ladies. And they weren't the exception, as you seem to suggest. Looks a bit like you may be coloring a lot of this discussion with your own palette, which I suppose we all do, but try not to use too broad a brush.

So we need to protect the kid but bash the lady who chose to be a lunch lady for a job?

What if the lunch lady's kid is on free and reduced lunches??!? So we make fun of the mom but not the kid? Land surfer has me all confused!

While we're on the topic of confusing things It irks me as a landowner that my wife and I get one vote each and can own multiple tracks of property. A couple renting a studio apartment the tax doesn't effect gets 1 vote each. So we vote no and they vote yes more taxes. That's real fair....
