First off all the above is usally
a business move but not always.
You can still buy a house cheap here
and people have moved here and then moved
back but still use the house as a business
tool.

Better education,yes
But
Student loans and the loan industry.

Quick recap so we are on the same playing field.

Education
In general
Means your specialized over those who
are not. Meaning more demand and yes carry
over for those that don't follow profession.

But
But
Ask around about student loan defaults.
It's nasty.
Market carries what one is willing to pay.
That statement might be true an might not now.
Because of the other factors.

Ok enough of that
Boils down to demand/capability.
If I have more capability than you
when the demand is there.

Think of it like this
Mob sees a business doing good.
Checks local bank to see what's comming
and going in the accounts(all illegally)
checks tax returns sees a profit.
Takes money from other nefarious places
runs the other out of business or
takes over existing biz.

All done by the help of the legal system.

What we are really talking about in the overall
thread is compounding of farm assets over
time wich allows etc.
So great granddads farm that had little edu.

It takes someone someone special
to manage a farm to grow especially
a family farm.

I don't have the answers.
Maybe that's the price to play.

My point was and is
The perception of a young person
maybe influenced in a way that's not real.

Reality is
Buying a house in x place as a business
decision is looked at defrently than working
Joe. But if working Joe Dosent understand
forgiveness loans for certain areas/tax/inflation
return/time shares/gotta go work on the house
in Hawaii.

But
That may be the folly of the upper class.
One hiccup but what(bad grammar) if they didn't
have to pay.

My perception is worth a grain of salt.
Not rich by any means.

If you had 100 houses paying for themselves
and had equity that can be gettin
out an no recourse be stupid not to.
