South cental Ohio
I'm going to disagree with the others and say that you are responsible for the pole with your meter---- as long as it doesn't have the transformer on it. I'm in the same situation as you right now and my electric company says that they are only responsible to the transformer. the rest , meaning the wire to the pole with my meter and generator hookup, is up to me. Now if my meter was on the transformer pole, then it would be their baby. Maybe someone else will chime in and help us out.
