michigan | My kids elementary school has free lunch and breakfast for everyone. In summer bus will pick up kids at certain pick up spots to take them to lunch for free.
BUT, if my kid takes a lunch, he can't get a free milk. Has to pay 50 cents. Or get a free lunch and throw it in the trash and keep the milk, crazy.
Edit: We pay the 50 cents, but that is how some will work the system. My kids say they see others throw out the lunch to get the milk.
