| No one has the right to know if a student is or is not subsidized while in K-12. And, to make them be on some kind of menial work detail to payback free or reduced meals is / should be discrimination and punishable by law.
Today's kids have plenty of other things to concern themselves with (like school work). They should not have to feel anymore of the effects caused by the hard times their parents or guardians have fallen on (no matter the origin of the hard times) to warrant their subsided treatment. They should all be treated as though they all come from the same socioeconomic level. | |
