Wow Brandon!! You know, they do have child labor laws!! Just kidding.... I think what you are doing is great. Probably more than we made ours do, but every family and every situation is different. I don't think you will ever regret it and although they probably don't like it at times, I have no doubt they will be more independent and know how to take care of themselves. Keep up the good work and enjoy your family. My kids are 19 and 17. My daughter is a freshman at the University of Nebraska. She made the adjustment pretty well and was able cope with being on her own. She is on summer break now. My wife flew out there yesterday to ride home with her. They will be here in a few hours. I can't wait. I think her room needs cleaning and we have two horse stalls to muck out. We also have one more small group of cows and calves to work. The cows are fun for her though.
