Walnut Grove MN USA
Keep an eye on that ground all winter. one year around here some ground came up for rent late in the year, standing stalks but had the Halloween blizzard snow on it. Weather warmed up in January and snow had blown off and new renter was able to plow it. The ground hadn't froze much before the snow and was insulated and warmed up from underneath. Maybe a once in 100 year thing but you never know.
