There is an MTZ message board if you're friend has questions also on the Combine Forum there is a few guys that run them.
Parts are still available for all the Belarus branded tractors in Canada/USA though if its an odd ball part it would have to shipped in from overseas on those old 4 wheel drive models as they weren't as popular in NA. All these tractors were mass produced so over in eastern Europe so there is lots of parts still.
