What is "initial stages"? Are desk-top computers in their initial stages?

I believe extending battery life is the goal of every human on the earth, and those floating in space also. Been wishing for that since batteries were invented...whenever that was. I too would like a drone battery that would last hours in-flight. I'd pay $1000 for it if it would & could be guaranteed.
