Floyd County, Iowa | DOT officer told me that. I asked him about grain wagons if the tractor lights were visible above the wagon. He said it didn't make any difference if the tractor's lights were visible, the lights need to be on the back of the rear-most implement.
I didn't look it up, just took his word for it. He gave me a warning for it during the daytime. I now have lights on the back of my wagons.
And local co-ops have to have lights on the back of the NH3 trailers. They use the battery powered magnetic stick-on lights. They also have several that do have factory lights on the back. | |
