Potable scales aren't "certified" scales like at Cargill because they are moved around. They are suppose to give you 3% on your weight. I have a friend who took a ticket to court and got it dropped because he was within that 3%. As far as who's screwing you it would depend on your net. If you weighed lighter loaded at Cargill then you would most likely have weighed more empty on the portables.
