NW Washington | And a little company in Oregon called Omnitrac had a belted quad before CIH came out with their belted 4x4. In fact they had belts on a CIH that looked very much like the CIH version when it first came out.
I also knew of a farmer in Washington that actually put four steel Grip Tracks like those sold for combines on a JD 4x4 tractor to get better traction on steep hillsides. The noise was terrific.
