| I have had 3 JD tractors with ILS, and they all had radar. I have a new 8370R with no radar. It of course shows no wheel slip. All the other three when pulling really hard and slipping, the nose would dive down to put more weight on front and make a great difference in pulling.
My JD dealer tells me that it doesn't need radar and it will make no difference on how it reacts in the field.
My opinion is that the computer learned from the wheel slip and adjusted the ILS accordingly. I am just an old farmer with 10 years of experience with the JD ILS system so what do I know?
I am thinking of using the GPS to send radar pulses and see if that makes any difference.
Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated.
