Subject: RE: Moldboard plow contour and odd shaped fields

I am looking for more information really on how we used to moldboard plows fields here in Pennsylvania up until the 1970's when chisel plowing took over. At one time we farmed a greater range of crops on narrower strips. I would like to figure out how to recreate this with more of the efficient tools of today and minimizing erosion. I'm attaching a picture of what we field shapes I'm looking at. I'm trying to understand the technique of plowing fields with bellies and other anomalies.
