| I ordered the mounting brackets this morning for my new idea. My dealer also sells Meyer spreaders. He suggested we call them and see if they will make one to fit my spreader. A replacement beater for one of their spreaders is only about 450 dollars. I believe it is square tubing with flat plates for the paddles. Depending on how full you are loading your spreader it might actually be easier on the drive train to have a top beater, two beaters doing the work of one. | |
