Cental Indiana | I too have wondered about adding a second beater. Like others have posted I want to build my own. Round or square bar, flat plates for paddles and chain drive from the bottom beater. Dad says no because the drive train wasn't designed for it. It's his spreader so he has the trump card. Of corse we haul 20 loads a year so I'm not sure there would be much return on investment. I don't know but it would be fun to try.
