Your price-vs-fundamentals argument is a chicken or the egg argument.
The biggest difference is that price represents all fundamentals, distilled down to 1 data set that you need to be able to understand, versus the nearly infinite amount of fundamental information you would need to be able to work through to arrive at the same point.
So did any oracle have it right?
