Dearfield Co. | I am going to say your salesman was probably a school teacher that couldn't teach 6 months ago or something equal-------------The rules for years have been if the truck was factory built it has to maintain the same year of emissions compliance. It is illegal to go back in years on a factory built truck. We had a 5ek cat in place of what I felt is the worst cat engine built a 1lw after it made a 2 piece crank. It was seen twice during DOT checks and one ticket was wrote in colorado so the tag turned into a 6nz tag . The ticket was only $300 but it went on the computer and they still check the truck . It now has a accert of sorts in it.
I really dont know the answer to any of this -------farm equipment, cars, pickups, trucks etc. all need to meet emissions but when the FIXES are nothing more than to line more pockets it gets old | |
