Oliver1 - 3/29/2016 23:34  So,,,, If you think about it, if you replace the SPDT switch with two SPST switches, and wire it correctly, then you can shut off both sides, or all rows of the planter, instead of L vs R type control. This would give you better control on the ends, crossing waterways, etc. IMHO, this should have been the way JD did it from the begining, but they didn't. Maybe the clutches pull two much amps, so only one should be on simultaneously, I don't know.




It should work fine if you use heavy enough wire and switches.      The 4 "Conser Clutches" we have on our White are all wired to their own switch with separate wiring to each clutch and they can all be shut off at the same time.
